R. A. Nock World Language Program

Welcome Back!
We are looking forward to the 2020-2021 school year and seeing all of you in our classrooms and online. In a truly exciting, development, we are pleased to let you know that the World Language Department is expanding this year. There will now have a Spanish teacher for each seventh and eighth grade teams, moving it to a daily core class. The School Department and Superintendent's office made this hope a reality by funding two new teaching positions. You can learn about the amazing new teachers joining the team below.

About Your Teachers
8 Gold
Señora Latusky is originally from Lima, Peru, and now lives in Danvers with her husband and two children. She holds a master's degree in education from Gordon College, Massachusetts and a second master's degree in teaching Spanish language and culture from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, Spain. Her bachelor's degree is in Business from Ricardo Palma University in Peru. Zumba, jogging, swimming and travelling whenever possible, along with going to her favorite beach, are her favorite pastimes. She also has a passion for teaching others her native language and culture.


8 Crimson
Señora DeMorales is from Wenham, Massachusetts, and now lives in Beverly with her husband. She graduated from Gordon College with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and moved to Guatemala to work for a non-profit organization helping people living in extreme poverty. She met her husband while living there, and they were married in 2015. She and her husband moved to the United States in 2018, and she comes to the Nock from Hamilton Wenham High School. She enjoys listening to music en español, going to the beach, baking, and watching Spanish telenovelas on Netflix. She is very excited for the new adventure of the upcoming school year as an eighth grade teacher.

Karla Gomez is originally from Tijuana, México, and now lives in Danvers, Massachusetts with her husband and two children. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from CETYS University , and she comes to the Nock from teaching elementary level in private organizations. History, travelling, getting to know other cultures, reading, camping and spending time with her family and friends are her favorite hobbies. Sra. Gomez is very excited to start sharing her language and culture at the Nock this year!
